Luxury Swimming Pools, Designed and Engineered for Life
A great pool is mostly invisible. Behind the still water and the clean lines sits a structure, a waterproofing system, a plant room and an air-handling strategy that have to work together for decades. Aqua Spazio designs and builds bespoke luxury swimming pools for homes across London and the UK, with the engineering done first and the finish done beautifully.

Indoor, outdoor and basement pools
We design and build pools in every setting: indoor pool halls, outdoor garden pools, and basement pools beneath London homes. Each brings its own challenges. Basement pools need careful structural coordination and tanking. Indoor pools need dehumidification and heat recovery to protect the building fabric. Outdoor pools need covers and heating sized for the British climate.

Engineering that protects your investment
Most pool problems start in the plant room or the building envelope, not the water. We size filtration and turnover to how the pool will actually be used, specify waterproofing that suits the structure, and design air handling that keeps condensation off walls and glazing. Our water treatment follows PWTAG guidance, and our plant rooms are laid out for straightforward servicing.
Complete the space with heat and cold
Many clients pair a pool with a sauna, steam room or cold plunge to create a complete private wellness suite. Designing everything together means shared plant, coordinated drainage and ventilation, and a layout that flows naturally from swim to heat to cold to rest.
Frequently asked questions
How long does a luxury pool take to build?
Most bespoke residential pools take several months from design sign-off to handover. Basement pools take longer because of structural and excavation work. We give a programme once the design is agreed.
Do I need planning permission for a swimming pool?
Many garden pools fall under permitted development, but basement pools, pool buildings and listed or conservation-area properties often need consent. We advise on this during design.
What does a pool cost to run?
Running costs depend mainly on heat loss and plant efficiency. A good cover, a heat pump, efficient pumps and heat recovery make the biggest difference, and we design for all four.
Can you add a sauna or cold plunge to my pool project?
Yes. Designing them together is the most efficient approach, because plant, drainage and ventilation can be shared.
