Longevity Clinic Design: Recovery and Wellness Spaces Built to Clinical Standards

Longevity and recovery clinics are bringing together saunas, cold plunges, red light, infrared and salt therapy alongside their medical and diagnostic services. Clients expect the rooms to look calm and premium, and operators need them to be hygienic, safe and easy to run between bookings. Aqua Spazio designs and installs the wellness and recovery spaces for longevity clinics, medical spas and private health practices across London and the UK.

What we design for longevity clinics

  • Contrast therapy suites: sauna, cold plunge and rest areas laid out for timed, bookable sessions.

  • Cold plunges: chilled, filtered pools with temperature control and water treatment for frequent use.

  • Infrared and traditional saunas: private cabins sized for one or two clients per session.

  • Red light therapy rooms: pods, beds and panel walls with certified equipment.

  • Salt rooms: halotherapy rooms and booths with controlled dosing and ventilation.

  • Steam rooms and showers: fully tanked wet areas between treatments.

Designed for clinical operation

Clinic spaces run on appointments, so every room needs to turn around quickly and safely. We design for wipe-clean finishes, simple cleaning routines, water treatment following PWTAG guidance, legionella control under HSE guidance, and controls that staff can operate and monitor easily. Electrical work follows BS 7671, and we coordinate ventilation, drainage and power with your architect and building team.

Private, premium and efficient

Clients want privacy and calm. We plan private suites with their own changing, shower and rest space, and use lighting, acoustics and materials that feel high-end without being hard to maintain. Shared plant and heat recovery keep running costs down.

Frequently asked questions

Can you work within an existing clinic?

Yes. We regularly fit wellness rooms into basements, ground floors and existing treatment spaces, checking structure, drainage, ventilation and power early.

Which modalities should we start with?

Most clinics start with a sauna, a cold plunge and red light therapy, then add salt or infrared rooms as demand grows. We can plan space and services for future additions from day one.

Do you work with our medical and design team?

Yes. We can lead the wellness design and installation, or act as the specialist designer within your wider project team.
